Alot of people have asked... so this article is for those unfamiliar with the Providence region. It is also for those who want the safety of empire and might be feel they are not ready for 0.0. The SKKMC has offices in empire AND 0.0. (We always will) We have only a handful of players who regularly "Hang Out" in empire (Mission runners, Miners, Explorers, manufacturers) there is NOTHING wrong with hanging out in empire at all!!!! HOWEVER..................... Most of the SKKMC lives in "The Pocket" (Our Alliance's Sovereign space-6 systems) which is inside Providence. Providence is NRDS (Not Red Dont Shoot) meaning everyone in providence does not shoot anything that is not set to RED. Meaning if you are neutral or blue to CVA, you will be safe in Providence!! (From Providence residents anyways) Providence is VERY safe & has GREAT Ice (Dark Glitter) & ok Ore (Best is Hedbergite). The Rats here are easy & have GREAT Bounties. Rarely Providence gets the stray RED or group of reds, but being on the Intell channel will give you a warning long in advance!!!! (These are basic skills you will need as you venture into much more hostile areas ingame) As an SKKMC member you will automatically be "BLUE" to the alliance & CVA & will have the full backing of all of Providence!!!!!!! So in a nutshell..........get in a fast ship & come look for yourself! (Or better yet bring up a jump clone so you can come & go with no worries!!) You will find all the Roids/Ice you can mine & if your into PVP its just a few jumps away. As the SKKMC grows we will have many people in Empire/0.0 & Lowsec. Have fun & remember to ask questions!!! many of us love to hear from newer SKKMC members to help them out! Thats why the corp was formed!!!! Fly Safe!! |

Official Corp Mining Policy:
Standard Corp Ore Mining Operations split the profits 50%. 50% goes to the Corp & 50% is divided among the participating miners, haulers & security pilots. (Usually based on the time they have participated in the operation) The Mining Director or Mining Fleet leader is responsible for calculating this split & ensuring payment. Ore from Corp Ops is deposited in the nearest SKKMC Office Mining & Refining Hanger.
Corporation ICE Operations are conducted in a similar fashion however 50% of the Ice collected is deposited to the corporation & the other 50% is sold & the ISK is divided among the participating Miners, Haulers & Security Pilots. Ice from Corp Ops is deposited in the nearest SKKMC Office Mining & Refining Hanger. Other types of Corp. Mining/Ice Ops are: 100% to Corp, 1 Share to Corp, Percent of profits to Organizer, or Donations only. The Leader of the Operation decides what type of Op it will be. |

To Join Corp as a Freelancer: (Wizemaster, Director)
1) Provide Limited API Key 2) Have a minimum of 30 days in Eve * 3) Talk to & be accepted by a Recruiting Officer 4) Be mature & able to play well with others. *(If applying to the corp with a character you have purchased/traded, you must own the character for at least three months before applying to the corp. Corp members will be allowed to add purchased/traded characters to the corp after at least three consecutive months of corp membership.)
Freelancers is a place for newer members to learn & to pass their probation within the corp.
Once accepted: -Your title will be "Freelancer" -No roles will be assigned to you until you show your commitment to the corporation (This is accomplished by Corp. participation, Missioning, Mining, Etc) Once the Freelancer meets the requirements for a Division assignment. It is the FREELANCERS responsibility to notify the director of the division he/she is interested in!!! The Director of the Division then gives roles/responsibilities to the Freelancer. -Once your "Probation" is finished you will be given an appropriate title/rank & get access to your Division hanger as well as the corporation Master Hanger. -When you register on this website USE YOUR CHARACTER NAME! or you will not be accepted. -Set your CSPA charges to "0" (zero). -Read Member Information Post Immediately.

-1 Month as an active Freelancer -Familiarity with SKKMC Mining Regulations

To Join TRI: (Komi Toran, Director)
Must be a member in good standing in SKMC for no less than one month. New members must have a basic competence in either manufacturing or research. Manufacturers are expected to have Production Efficiency V, while researchers are expected to have Science V as well as two of the following: Research V, Laboratory Operation V, and Metallurgy IV. Exceptions can be made based on invention skills.
Additionally, members are given the following recommendations: -In order to use corp lab facilities, Scientific Networking I is required. -In order to use corp manufacturing facilities, Supply Chain Management I is required.
To Join Mission & Exploration: (Jacques Duwhee, Director)
-1 Month as an active Freelancer -Basic Exploration/Combat skills needed for exploration & Missioning
Directors of each division will determine if a freelancer is qualified for a position in his division. |
